Pam Hamilton, RDN, LDN, CCMS is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Culinary Medicine Specialist. She is Senior Professor and Director of the Nutrition & Dietetic Technology Program with Pierpont Community & Technical College in Fairmont, WV.
Pam earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Fairmont State College in 1987 and a Master of Science in Human Nutrition & Foods from West Virginia University in 2001. She became credentialed with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in 2001 and maintains licensure with the state of West Virginia as a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN).
Primary courses of instruction include Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Lifespan Nutrition, Medical Nutrition Therapy, and Nutrition in Childhood and Adolescence. She has also taught Sports Nutrition and Nutrition for Health and Healthcare.
Awards: Paul Edwards Award for Teaching Excellence in 2014 and West Virginia Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Outstanding Dietitian of the Year in 2011.
