The link provided defaults to an arrival on June 5th and departure on June 9th. Guests can navigate to the link and adjust the stay dates for arrival as early as June 1st and as late as June 10th and book a stay for as many nights as they’d like.

If you have other questions, you may visit the registration desk or text (571) 266-6703. Do not expect an immediate reply to texts.
The ACCM office will be closed for the duration of the conference. No calls to the ACCM office will be returned during the conference.
Shuttles to the Conference Site
The conference itself will be held at:

Shuttles will run a round trip schedule between the International House Hotel and Delgado Community College starting one hour prior to the opening of the conference and continuously throughout the day.

For specific shuttle start times, refer to the Conference Agenda.
Shuttles will run approximately every 15 minutes in the mornings until the opening of the day’s sessions and again in the afternoon a the close of the day’s sessions. In between the opening and closing sessions the shuttles will run about every 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic.

Conference Food and Beverage (Are breakfast and lunch provided?)
Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the conference on Friday and Saturday.
Breakfast will be provided on Sunday.

Water bottle filling stations will be available — please bring a reusable bottle.
Continuing Education Credits
On Wednesday June 17 following the conference you will receive an email with instructions to claim continuing education credits and certificates.
Attire & Safety Requirements
Please dress comfortably for full days of hands-on learning and movement.
Please wear kitchen-comfortable attire to the conference and for your class. Knives, disposable aprons, and kitchen supplies will be provided. You must wear closed-toe shoes to the kitchen in order to participate! NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. We recommend bringing a head covering such as a hat, scarf, etc.
Please wear comfortable clothing, but leave dangling jewelry and very loose-fitting items at home. These requirements are for your personal safety and pursuant to the local health inspector.
Parking at Delgado Community College & Directions
Free parking is available on campus for attendees.
We recommend using the lot near the City Park Student Life Center (in front of the Student Life Center – Location 23 on the Campus Map).

Yoga in the Morning
The yoga sessions offered at last year’s conference were popular and we will be offering this again this year. You can participate in sessions both on Friday and Saturday morning at 6:15 AM. Bring your own yoga mat.
Sessions will be held in the Atrium Space at Entrepeneur’s Row, across the street from the International House Hotel at 220 Chartres Street.
New Orleans Airport
Voted one of the best airports in the United States, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is easy to fly in and out of as well as having up to date amenities and restaurants.
Taxis from the airport to downtown New Orleans are available for a flat rate of $36 (up to 2 passengers).
Luggage Handling on Sunday
Luggage storage will be available in the Lac Ponchartrain Room at Delgado Community College on Sunday for attendees checking out of their hotel prior to the final sessions. The ACCM assumes no responsibility or liability for luggage.

The Cabildo is one of the most historically significant buildings in America. Built between 1795 and 1799 to replace a structure that burned in the 1794 fire, the Cabildo served as the seat of government in New Orleans during the Spanish colonial period and is the location where the Louisiana Purchase was signed in 1803.
The Backstreet Cultural Museum

At The Backstreet Cultural Museum, visitors can find an amazing assortment of memorabilia indigenous to Mardi Gras, jazz funerals, and other traditions found only in New Orleans. The museum houses the city’s largest collection of brilliantly colored and elaborately designed Mardi Gras Indian costumes hand made by local artisans costing upwards of $10,000 apiece. In this simple setting, the museum also houses an enormous collection of still photos and video footage of Mardi Gras Indians, jazz funerals, and second lines.
Pharmacy Museum

Louis Joseph Dufilho, Jr. of New Orleans became America’s first licensed pharmacist. Dufilho’s 1823 apothecary shop on Chartres Street in the French Quarter houses what is widely believed to be the largest and most diverse pharmaceutical collection in a single location in the United States, containing patent medicines, books, and pharmaceutical equipment dating to the 1800s.

The Presbytere houses an elaborate and exquisite collection of Mardi Gras artifacts and memorabilia.
