Tammy Pugh is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner. She completed the Masters of Science in Nursing program in 2004 at the University of South Alabama. Over the last decade, she has focused on individuals with an increased cancer predisposition in the regions first Cancer Risk and Prevention Clinic in Mobile Alabama. She is a 2019 alumna of City of Hope, with specialized training in hereditary cancer risk assessment and genetics, allowing her to provide comprehensive counseling and testing while implementing evidence-based surveillance strategies for earlier cancer detection. She is also a Certified Culinary Medicine Specialist since 2024, using evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle strategies as part of a comprehensive approach to cancer risk reduction and long-term health.
