About
Dr. Vicencio was born in the Philippines, immigrated to the U.S. and settled in Chicago.
He came to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida where he earned a bachelor’s degree and subsequently graduated from its College of Medicine. His specialty training was completed at Bayfront Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in St. Petersburg, FL, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He holds the distinction of being a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice.
Prior to starting V Medcare Direct Primary Care, Dr. Vicencio practiced for almost 24 years as an employed physician with Morton Plant Mease Primary Care / BayCare Medical Group in Oldsmar, FL.
He has cooked and been involved in the exciting hospitality scene in Tampa Bay.
He provides care that emphasizes every aspect of a person’s being and truly embraces the differences that we all have as they are what make our world such a beautiful place.
