Chef Mick Rickerd joined the Corewell Health team in a 2018 with over 26 years of restaurants and large event experience. Chef Mick was accustomed to sustainable sourcing fresh products from local farmers and purveyors and has continued this tradition with Corewell health. Nurturing the relationships with local farmers, bakeries, and other specialty companies have defined Corewell Health’s commitment to change the image of what hospital food is. Chef Mick was also recently one of the first cohorts certified in the Certified Culinary Medicine Professional program through The American College of Culinary Medicine.
