Dr. Joshua Neal is an Obesity Medicine physician and Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology at Medical University of South Carolina. He is ICCE Chief for Health, Wellness, and Human Performance at MUSC.
Dr. Neal earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, after which he served for four years abroad with the U.S. Army. Dr. Neal is board certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. He has a special interest in culinary medicine and is a Certified Culinary Medicine Specialist.
