I have over 10 years of experience as a Director of Culinary and Nutritional Services in two different skilled nursing communities. I also spent a few years at a nonprofit CCRC. I was able to write and maintain menus in my communities, but I wanted to go further with healthy menu design that would reach people outside of my main community. After completing my CCMP certification, I was able to find a company that allows me to do just that! Creating and managing menus for distribution to hundreds of different communities across the country. The CCMP certification has helped me understand what it takes to create well rounded, healthy, delicious and budget appropriate menus.
