Multi-center trials investigating the impact of the GCCM curriculum on the competencies and clinical performance of medical students, residents, and attending physicians for educating patients on nutrition-based methods of disease management.
1. GIS-based Biomedical Informatics & Community Health
Utilizing a geographic information system (GIS), U.S. census data on demographics, and electronic health records for disease tracking (at HIPAA and IRB standards for protecting patient confidentiality) to produce risk stratification maps for prioritizing community nutrition and disease education interventions.
