Virginia DeFina completed her Master of Science degree and graduated as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Pace University/New York Medical College after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Sociology from Fordham University. A lifelong learner, Virginia achieved a Certificate in Editing from New York University School of Continuing Education and is an American Heart Association instructor and instructor-trainer in both Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support disciplines. She holds American Nurses Credentialing Center board certification and is a member of the Oncology Nurses Association and American Mensa.
Virginia enjoys travel and the beach with dozens of trips to her favorite destination, the Turks and Caicos Islands, where health does meet food with limitless possibilities.
