As a family nurse practitioner, Stephanie Glasser sees patients of all ages at Capitol Square Healthcare, whether it’s for physicals and preventative care or acute problems and chronic diseases.
From the beginning, Stephanie’s patients will have a nurse who listens and is nonjudgmental. The best part of her job is helping and seeing patients reach their health goals, she says.
While she’s focused on helping patients have successful health outcomes, she cares about her patients on a personal level too. “I feel it is a privilege to provide healthcare for patients,” she says. “We are not defined by our medical conditions and challenges. We cannot be reduced to these things.”
And as a seasoned professional in nursing, Stephanie is helping future generations of medical experts too, helping oversee educational programs, as well as providing supervision and expertise for nurse practitioner students at VCU.
Stephanie is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.
