Making a positive difference in people’s lives inspires me to practice medicine despite its tremendous challenges and responsibilities.
I obtained my medical degree from the School of Medicine at the University of the Philippines, where I am originally from. I completed two residencies in Loma Linda University School of Medicine: one residency was in preventative medicine/public health and the other was in occupational medicine.
For 15 years, I provided quality care and compassion to injured workers with emphasis on workplace injury and illness prevention. I’m hoping to utilize my preventive medicine training, particularly culinary medicine, in the next phase of my career.
My goal is to provide quality care and compassion, to enable the injured worker to achieve his or her best level of performance.
Hobbies and interests
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and meeting people. In addition to English, I speak Tagalog.
